Well this week was a doozy.  We had a large furniture delivery for a client that did not go quite as planned.  At one point, I felt like I was on some sort of hidden camera prank show that sets up an unsuspecting victim for a total breakdown.   We plan for issues with every delivery, it’s just the nature of the industry, and there’s nothing that we can do to prevent it.  So we brace ourselves and wait for deliveries.   Companies will send the wrong size, color, or just the wrong product in general.  Hardware will not be included to assemble tables, or items will be chipped or broken.  Typically, it’s just a couple issues.  With this delivery, EVERY SINGLE THING that came through the door had some sort of issue attached to it.  Two wrong rugs, a missing rug, no hardware, bar stools instead of counter stools, and the list goes on and on.   Our project manager Tiffany left the studio that day saying she got nothing accomplished except a 6 hour panic attack.  But, we’ve learned that it’s how we deal with these situations that defines us.  We calmly addressed every problem and now there are resolutions in place, while our clients remained stress free throughout the process and are able to enjoy their new furniture.  Too bad it’s not like HGTV where an entire home is magically renovated without a hitch, all within a half hour!

Ok, now that I got that off my chest, we are sharing inspiring entries today:
