Globe Pendants

Park and Oak Design

It has been a crazy week as usual, we are wrapping up a couple projects with accessories and also beginning several new builds!   We’re so happy that our clients came to us early in the process so we are able to work on the drawings with the architect and the exterior details, which is always a good time.

We wanted to share with you some notes on globe pendants.   Globe pendants originate from street posts and distribute diffused light evenly from all sides making them a great lighting option for kitchens, halls, entryways, and bathrooms. In general the globes are transitional and can add the just the right touch of modern or old-world to any room. They come in glass and silicon with minimal to detailed metal finishes. This particular type of fixture also allows you to introduce a new shape to the room. Layering lines, shapes, and textures in a room is what gives it character.

Here are a few kitchens where we used globe pendants:

We hope you like them as much as we do. Here are 12 beautiful globe pendants in a range of different styles.
